Artists Fluo Sobre and VoxAxoV released “Black”, their collaborative retro-futuristic, experimental and spacy EP. Experimenting with sounds, synths and vocals, the 4 tracks explore the concept of the black color: the cold, deathlike and immobility of machines, the offbeat idea of the dark matter or the infinite and unknown array of possibilities the expanding cosmos can reveal.
As a child of the 80’s and synth amateur, Fluo Sobre brings his passion for vinyl, graffiti, space travels, painting and vintage electronic music altogether. He plays and produces his music on machines which are more than 35 years old, still using 3.5 discs to charge the samples and work with sequences in 12bits to obtain a nostalgic, analogical, Sci-fi Wave, 80's sound. It’s a long process of programming and sound research, which Fluo Sobre has developed over several years working for Radio France International, TV and his two studios based in Paris and Barcelona.
VoxAxoV is the alter-ego of artist and producer Charlotte Cegarra, also known for being part of the now cult Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble. Between light and shadow, VoxAxoV creates an ambient or industrial, interactive and spiritual universe with vocal and electronic experimentations. Always at ease with extending her pluri-dimensional universe with various collaborations, VoxAxoV has embarked with delight in the extraterrestrial journey Fluo Sobre initiated.
